I have another literature related post for you today. It’s my first ever online-published work of fiction! *cheer* *applause* I’m SO happy! This tale took me fives of minutes to put together. It’s inspired by true events and is told in the classic, immortal style of an Usborne touchy-feely book. Celebrate my fiction debut with me!

That’s Not My Black SUV, by Ashley Lilley

That’s not my black SUV…
Its windshield is too clean.

That’s not my black SUV…
It’s chrome package is too shiny.

That’s not my black SUV…
There’s no expired coupons in the cupholders.

That’s not my black SUV…
It doesn’t beep when I click the clicky thinger.

That’s not my black SUV…
The plates are from North Dakota.

That’s not my black SUV…
It has fuzzy dice on the mirror.

That’s not my black SUV…
That bumper sticker’s too offensive.

That’s not my black SUV…
There are TWO baby car seats in the back–Yikes!

That’s not my black SUV…
The door is missing that ding I put in it at Walmart last month.

THAT’S my black SUV…
Parked by five other black SUVs, two rows down from where I was looking.
