It’s been a little quiet around here, lately.
Don’t take it personally. It’s been a little quiet everywhere.
I am in full hermit mode at the moment. I haven’t been writing. I haven’t been going out. I’ve been cancelling plans. I’ve been ignoring my phone.

I am not ok, Guys.

Last year during Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month, I mentioned that I was on a waiting list to have myself tested for autism and ADHD. Welp, my number came up, and during this years’ Autism Month, I find myself in the middle of the testing process.

And it is the hardest thing I have ever done.

This process is taking every bit of strength I have. So this will have to suffice as my Autism Awareness Month post this year. How does this sound for awareness? The only thing more insurmountable than getting your child’s diagnosis is trying to get your own. Something needs to give in our health care system, because I wouldn’t wish what I’m going through on anyone.
