It seems to me that the powers that be really love giving extra work to people who are already overburdened.

It seems that the federal and provincial programs to help parents of autistic children here in Canada are a well-kept secret. This is not ok with me. No family should have to struggle without care simply because no one has told them their options.

Today I want to respond to a type of comment that I hear all the time: "I don't want to label them." "I'd talk to the doctor, but then they'd just slap a label on them." "Labels are so hurtful. I would never do that to my child"
