What Hurting People Need (Part 10)

Imagine if your spouse had cancer... would you remember to dust your TV stand? Hurting people need a hand with household chores.

Nothing is certain except death, taxes, and your kid saying, "Can I have a snack?"

An acquaintance will check on you when something bad happens. A friend will check on you again and again for weeks or months or years.

I started erasing "If there is anything I can do, let me know." from my vocabulary. Here's why.

Hurting people just need someone to listen to them.
